Fortunately (or unfortunately depending on how you look at it), you don't need a lot of deep musical theory or expertise to be a DJ.

It depends on what you consider a DJ to be. See, just like every other professional career, being a DJ is quite something you can't brag about to those rich executives because everyone knows that it is mildly difficult to become a DJ. You now don't even have to mix from your ear through the cue out
