Absolutely on the right track in my opinion, I have seen LLB with CS people going high places in corp. law firms and corporate but work hard and try to crack all CS papers within say 2 years of passing LLB.
1. As to get employed as a Company Secretary, aspirants will need to clear the following:
Executive Program
Foundation Program
Professional Program
The minimum educational qualification to apply for a company secretary course is 10+2. The minimum age must be 17 years. Apart from this, applicants will also need to have good language skills as well as the ability to examine complex as well as technological issues, understand problems and make judgment with tact.
You can purchase the admission forms from the institution or get it by post. Forms can also be got from the Central Bank of India. The price of the admission form is Rs.1000/-. The CS examinations are usually carried out in the months of June and December annually.
