Is it true that IITs and NITs give 100% fee waiver for complete 4 years for students whose family income is less than Rs. 1 lakh per annum?

Yes, IITs and NITs have hiked fees. But, at the same time graded fee waiver has also been announced. Those with less than Rs. 1 lakh will be fully waived. Fees increase gradually till income of Rs. 5 lakhs. Then full fees for general category students.
