Is it worth joining NIT Goa?

<p>NIT Goa is one of the 31 National Institutes of Technology in India and is recognised as an Institute of National Importance. It offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programmes in various disciplines of engineering, humanities, and others. NIT Goa is ranked 90th in India's top engineering college category by NIRF 2023.</p><p>Some of the factors that may influence your decision to join NIT Goa are:</p><p>Admission: You need to take the JEE (Main) exam and secure at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST/PwD) in Class XII or be within the category-wise top 20 percentile in your respective Class XII board examination. Admissions are done on the basis of rank in JEE (Main) through JoSAA Counselling and CSAB Special Round.</p><p>Fee: The tuition fee for NIT Goa is INR62,500 per semester for general and OBC students, and INR0 for SC/ST/PH students. There is also a fee waiver scheme for students whose family income is less than INR1 Lacs or between INR1 Lacs to INR5 Lacs per annum. The hostel fee is INR32,250 per semester.</p><p>Placement: NIT Goa has a good placement record, with 87.29% of the eligible students getting placed in 2022. <p>Yes, NIT Goa is one of the best colleges present in India. The college is ranked 101-150 by NIRF 2024 under the Engineering category. The college is also ranked 90 by NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework ) 2023 for BTech. The institution arranges guest lectures for students as well as the teachers. The way of teaching gets updated every year, hence the education given here is at par with any other NITs present in India. National Institute of Technology Goa is a blend of modern education combined with traditional knowledge and expertise. The college is among the best BTech colleges present in India.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
