Yes, it can be beneficial to invest money in order to pursue MBA from a Tier-2 B-School in India but you must keep following points in your mind:
Always try to be in top 10%-20% student because this will increase your chances to get a job in every company which will visit your institute.
Work hard as well as work smart, start building your resume from starting, so that you have enough material on your resume which can make you stand out of crowd.

MBA from not top B-school:
1. You get a brand name that's going to stick with you for the rest of your life. If you want to change that, you have to go for another MBA later.
2. You may not get a lot of smart people in your batch (they might be good, and this is in no way saying that the entire set is not smart, but we need to accept the fact that not everybody is at the same level) and you might be smarter than a lot of people which doesn't really help when it comes to personal growth.

The foundation of any institute, is their faculty and the success of institute depends on how well it's management perform. 7 years agoIt all depends on the individual. If you are a working professional and looking for a switch from current industry to altogether a different one likes IT to Finance/Marketing. MBA is a better option and investing 2 years in a tier-2 college is also worth. The thought of a better career prospect with a Post Graduation degree like MBA might be another inspiration.
