Is it worth to pursue a BBA from distance learning in India and why?

To begin with distance education courses, they however, gives you the flexibility of time and space, but for those who lack in those dimensions. For the working professionals distance courses are best thing which happened to them as they can schedule their time for the learning. Talking about BBA, however it's a business course, but it's an undergraduate course which requires lot of learning and understanding. Being a MBA, one thing I can assure you is, the full time course is a hands on approach towards different situations, it's a complete different dimension altogether which distance course will never be able to match with. BBA is absolutely not worth of a distance course because to build a superstructure, the foundation should be as strong. Full time BBA courses are very famous among the youths because it gives a different perspective of approach to the business situations as well as handling the issues which the distance courses are not able to match. Talking about the Indian scenario, your CV won't add that value, which a full time BBA can do. In India, the distance courses are propaganda for increment and promotions over time. Not in all the companies of course. In India, there are many institutions which give certificates of such courses. If you are really interested then universities like SMU and University of Madras are good brands. So do BBA full time, make your base strong and build a wonderful career for yourself and once again please don't go for distance courses unless you cannot manage the flexibility of your time and space. But it's not worth it to pursue a BBA from distance learning in India as the value created is less than the value added.

No, distance courses have less authenticity as compared to full time. Bachelor of business administration is one of the demanded courses of education nowadays. According to the global HR policy, distance mode of BBA has less importance as compared to regular. Also, distance education is just a knowledge improvement method of education. The validity of such courses will not add value to the CV in one aspect or the other. The great part of distance education is that. For a working professional and his career development this course will help a lot. For promotions, shift from one company to another, knowledge improvement, skill development, etc. this distance mode education helps a lot. Some will do distance education from IGNOU. This university is one among the best for BBA. I suggest you to go with regular BBA.

For this, first I want to ask a question. When you feel hungry, you'll have food and fill your tummy or you'll just see the pictures of the great dishes on Google and satisfy yourself? In the same way, Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) from distance learning is also filling your tummy by looking at the pictures of the dishes rather than having it. Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) degree is a graduation which teaches basics of management, financial accounts, business management, marketing mix, consumer behaviour, etiquette, administration and lot more. It teaches about this commercial world and how to handle it. It should be learnt only by joining in some reputed college and it should not be pursued in which ever college you want. Before joining, you've to check the track of that college regarding the particular degree and then take a wise decision about it. If you pursue this course on online then you'll get just the certificate that successfully you completed Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) degree but coming to knowledge, you'll be having nothing about it when compared with a daily college going Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) student. So, it is not worth to pursue a Bachelor's of Business Administration (BBA) degree from distance learning in India.

A distance BBA is generally taken by working professionals only as they can choose the specialization relevant to their experience and apply the theoretical knowledge gained in the course materials in their day to day work. If you are not doing BBA from Christ University, Symbiosis or top B-schools then distance education is given more value than a regular course. You will add value to organization, as you have both theoretical and practical knowledge. Please note that university from where the candidate is pursuing also matters so please do some research work prior taking admission in any universities as these days there are many universities who are just selling the degrees without any approval from UGC DEB and related authorities.
