Is it worth to pursue a certificate in audio-video editing from distance learning in India and why?

The answer is a big no.
Audio-video editing requires a candidate to not only learn the intricacies of the software, but also learn minor things like how to dump an audio/video file from the camera/any other recording equipment to the computer. This isn't something one can mug up from text books or internet because it requires the concerned person to learn the skills over time and enhance them for the better under able guidance of the teachers who can help in sorting of the pros and cons one needs to take care of during editing.

6 years agoAudio and video editing are two different domains in terms of distance mode. I shall not object strongly on the audio editing course through distance mode but I shall be putting my foot down when it comes to videography.
Videography is meant to be something with the camera and is not advised done through distance mode. The above things cannot be imparted through distance mode and that is why it is not advised to have a course in acting or even anchoring through distance mode.
