Hi, Yes it is good in terms of B.Tech ECE. My friends shared a lot of excellent reviews about this course and will be able to share the information basis their feedback. Firstly ECE is one such stream where you have combination of CSE, EE and EEE courses too. You will be thought basic electrics and electronics in your first year and later in second year core subjects come in. We do have a good lab facility. But I won't tell you that everyone learn from those labs. Because ultimately it students' duty to learn things. Next there clubs in ECE department which help you in doing some kind of projects of implementing your ideas etc. I don't say all the faculty members in the department are best but there are a lot many good faculty who you can take guidance from.
