Is Lovely Professional University good for B.Tech and provide high-end placements?

In my opinion, LPU is the best college as it has a good curriculum for CSE and provides good and handy placements to its CSE students, many being placed in top notch companies like wipro, capegemini, google, amazon, etc.

Dear, LPU is good in terms of Placements, Infrastructure, and faculty members. The highest Package for engineering was 28 LPA and Average was 5 LPA. All the faculty members in the university qualified as per the UGC norms. The campus is coming under 600+ acres, students are from 29 states,7 union territories, and 50+ countries.

LPU is a globally well-known university, and it is a good choice reason being they have good tie-ups with corporate houses, foreign universities, NGO's which are actually very important for networking and getting placed. Infrastructure is good too. You will find cultural diversity that will give you exposure. You would be meeting people from different countries and get to know about their culture, tradition which will help you to grow as a better person. In addition to this, the scholarship is also given to meritorious students. Placements are good too.

Hi, One of my cousins did B.Tech from LPU last year and he is working in Capgemini. I will give you a few highlights of B.Tech: 1) The faculty and the infrastructure and other facilities are excellent. 2) The placements are 100% and the preparation for the same starts from the very first year. Recently, a girl got placed at a package of 42 LPA. Moreover, Amazon recruited LPU students with 28 LPA. More than 650 companies visit LPU every year for recruitment with an average package of 4-10 LPA. 3) They give you the option to choose your pathway elective as well that whether you want a corporate Job or Research or Government Job or you want to be an entrepreneur. 4) There is more than twelve Center of Excellence established by reputable companies like Automation Anyware, Texas Instruments, CISCO, SAP, Cadence, etc. 5) There is an innovation studio in LPU where students can work on their ideas. Moreover, in 2019, when the Indian Science Congress held in LPU, LPU Students also design Solar-powered Driverless Bus to ferry PM Modi to Indian Science Congress 2019 in this studio. 6) Last but not the least, the students told me that LPU has his own space shuttle programme, where students and faculty members are working on satellite programme with the joint help of ISRO. Hello, Both the universities have good records. As an alumni, it might seem that I am supporting LPU but this is the reality which I have experienced in LPU during my graduation and post-graduation. LPU gives me an extra edge. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every eligible student to secure good placement with the help of a dedicated Division of Career Services. The university has been ranked high by various outer agencies with regard to placements of our students. More than 550 companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU; and this year for batch graduating in 2020, already more than 500 placement/internship drives have been conducted till January 2020 with leading industry giants (more than 90% being MNCs) and generating more than 3000 offers just in the first half of the academic session. At Lovely Professional University, they not talk about Job Placements, but Career Placements. As per students interest and inclination towards his or her career choice LPU provide career pathways and accordingly changes are done in the students curriculum based on the pathway being opted by students like: Corporate jobs Government Jobs Higher studies Entrepreneurship Research

LPU is worth from each and every aspect, No doubt LPU adopts new technologies faster than anyone, they update their curriculum even after each semester by taking feedback from the students and also to meet the latest standards. LPU focuses on practical knowledge a lot, they have high tech labs and dedicated MAC lab for iOS development, each core subject has a different practical subject for it. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure.

Hello Kress, As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Now, I can give you some information about LPU placements from feedback received from some students. So, yes, LPU provides a good platform for placements for all the streams. The LPU students have been successful to get a the highest package of 28 Lacs per annum from Amazon. Over the years, major national as well as international brands like Cognizant, IBM, Honda, Amazon, Flipkart, LG India, SAP have visited LPU campus for placing its students. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. So, definitely, in my view, LPU will be a good choice for placements. All the best for your future.
