CSE dept. Of LPU is having the highest number of students under a single dept. Being an alumni of LPU I had many friends from CSE and I used to see them wearing formal dress almost every day because their placement drives would happen every day in their final year. Most of the students get offers in their third year itself. The placement record of CSE from LPU is phenomenal. Every year LPU breaks its own record in terms of placements. Many giants like Amazon, Interviewbit have offered packages of around 26LPA to LPU students from CSE. VMWARE, Jugnoo, Pegasystems have offered packages of 9LPA to students, many other companies like Wipro, Capgemini, Bosch have offered packages of 6 LPA and the list is endless. The CSE dept. Of LPU has various tie-ups with Google, Pega, VMWARE, AUTOMATION ANYWHERE, INFORMATICA, COMPUTING TECHNOLOGY INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION (CompTIA). The university has sate of the art labs with the latest software to provide hands on practical exposure to students. Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. It is one of the best private colleges for B.Tech in CSE. The placements which is one of the most important things is more than just great here, far better than many other private colleges. With around 600 companies coming to the campus and the majority of students being placed, the placement drive at LPU is one of the most successful ones. And as far as the rankings are concerned, LPU is ranked in the TOP 100 in NIRF by MHRD, government. Of India. Also, LPU is now considered among the TOP 25 institutions when it comes to promoting innovation and entrepreneurship. Talking about the academics here, LPU challenges the conventional teaching methods with Practice-Based Teaching. Practices like Project-Based Learning, Competitive Programming, Learning from Experts, etc. Are all embedded in the teaching methodology ultimately helping the students in all the ways possible.

Hi there, Well I am not an engineering student but a bit connected to it. I was pursuing Masters degree in mathematics back in year 2018 and stayed in LPU-hostel. My room-mate was a B.Tech CSE student and best to my experience she was fully compatible with everything. She was an average student up-to 10+2 but after joining LPU, in the first semester she had to work hard to score good, but then she got used to and finally I SEE this year she has reached the CGPA count of 9. She moved from 7 CGPA to 9 with time and now she is placed in some good company. I think this is the best example I could quote to answer your query. To me, all the universities are good but to my own experience I would suggest LPU, because it holds a special place in my heart. Besides all, LPU has a very good placement record.
