Is LPU a good college for B.Tech in CSE branch?

Lovely professional University is the best engineering college in Punjab for CSE. , Number of admissions in CSE department have been increased rapidly and has become one of the popular courses among engineering aspirants. It focuses on the basic elements of computer programming and networking. I am saying this because my cousin brother has completed same course from Lovely Professional University, Reviews are pretty good. Well, the study of CSE in LPU is very good. CSE is one of the branches in LPU having wonderful placements. Most of students get placed in reputed companies with few opting for higher studies. Special inputs in the form of placement classes are given to students to hone their skills and prepare them for placements. Professors are easily approachable in the college and are well experienced. They are very supportive of all technicalities. Students can contact them anytime for their study purpose. The latest teaching methods are used in the classroom. Curriculum in CSE branch is very well designed such that they can learn everything from basics to the in-depth knowledge of their field. The College takes them for the industrial visit for more growth and experience. To commence with the curriculum, all the subjects you are going to study, their syllabus is designed keeping in mind the industry demands and the syllabus is vetted by company officials. Different specializations are offered to students depending upon the stream they want to opt for. For example- In CSE, they offer cyber security, IoT, data Science, machine learning, and many more. Moreover, they give you the option for pathway elective that whether you want to be in the corporate sector, higher studies, Government Job, or entrepreneur. In addition to it, the classes you have to attend regularly. They did not compromise with the academics of the students. If any faculty is on leave, the classes are either adjusted or makeup lectures are planned. The University also provides the option of credit transfer and international exposure to its students. LPU is well-known in India for its B Tech CSE programme. Here, students from all across the country come to learn. The programme seeks to provide students a competitive advantage by providing them with solid and hands-on learning in specialised technologies, allowing them to acquire competency that meets industry needs. It focuses on courses relating to algorithms, computing, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software, databases, operating systems, computer networking, and other topics that are required to construct and solve issues using computers. The curriculum is of high international quality. One has the opportunity to learn from both international and industry specialists. International credits are available in some programs when students have the chance to study abroad. In terms of the computer realm, it is a complex one. This programme seeks to produce graduates who have a broad grasp of the Computer Science and Engineering discipline and who are open to future developments. LPU student, was recently hired by GOOGLE with 64 LPA this year. If you want to know my opinion, my opinion is firmly that may LPU not be the top IIT of the country but it is not lesser in any regard. There are shortcomings everywhere yet LPU strives to improve every year for the students and it is a big organisation that is working hard to make a change and I mean it when I say it so the people who say that the level is not good, there are numerous achievements which are against that argument.

I would like to say that LPU is synonymous with B Tech CSE. B Tech CSE is one of the fortes of LPU. Being a faculty of LPU I would like to share some details of the B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from the pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. The Knowledge Review has rated LPU as the 10th best Training & Placement Institution in India. Tie-ups with Industries: LPU has tie-ups with many reputed industries such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, and Upgrade. CompTIA, Transorg, Geeksforgeeks, etc. That help students to explore themselves more in their field.
