Is LPU a good college for B.Tech in CSE branch?

LPU as college is not among the good colleges for B.tech and placement are also not upto the mark as compared to other Engg colleges. So if you have other better options then go for that. Like in Chandigarh Thappar University is good, and there are some good colleges in Chandigarh University. You can try for that. Otherwise if you are ready to relocate then you can move to Pune and South India and have good colleges there.

As I pass out CSE student from LPU I would say LPU is the best university which not only provide the theoretical Knowledge but also provide the practical Knowledge too. Being a faculty of LPU, I would like to share some details of B Tech CSE department of LPU : Placements are very good at LPU. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. The maximum package availed by the student for CSE is 42 LPA. The maximum salary offered was 40 LPA and the average salary was 5.7lpa. PEP Classes-These classes help students for placements so that they can get selected in the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year.
