Is LPU a good college for ECE engineering?

Big companies like Bosch, Samsung, Voltas, Lava, Vodafone, PEGA, hp, LG Soft India, Capgemini, Hind Rectifiers, Verizon, Hitachi Power, Videocon, L&T Technology Services, Ericsson, HCL Technologies, Asahi India, Ceasefire Industries, Sandhar Technologies, Indus tower, KEC International, Dharam Consulting, Cleanmax Solar, CSS Corp, Exide, Zamil ACs, Synopsys, Nylocore Transmissions come to campus for ECE students, Almost 90% students of ECE got placed in Reputed Companies like INFINEON (12 Lacs PER ANNUM), Robert Bosch Engineering and Business Solutions (5 Lacs Per Annum), Bosch Home Appliances Group (5 Lacs per Annum), HPE (5 LPA), Trident Group (15 LPA), Think and Learn (9 LPA) etc. Most of the ECE students are placed in good companies with high package. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes. Students have been offered package as high as 26 lacs pa.

Dear Gaya, Yes, LPU is a good college for the ECE programme. My friend did M.Tech in the ECE programme and now started Ph.D. in ECE from LPU itself. LPU provides very good opportunities to all the students of the EEE/ECE department. There are some facts that you would also like about the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in LPU. Placements: LPU has a good placement record for EEE/ECE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are BOSCH, Microsoft, Code Nation, Adobe, etc. In which students of EEE/ECE are placed. The highest package offered for the ECE programme at LPU is 31 LPA and the average package is 5.1 LPA. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Hands-on Practical: Students who study EEE/ECE from LPU get an opportunity to do practical work in their field more than theoretical as LPU has Robotics and Automation lab, Bosch Lab, and other workshops conducted by this department such as Robotics workshop, Labview workshop, and many more.
