The university is having tie-ups with many foreign universities and reputed companies thus facilitating higher education abroad and good placements respectively for their students. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. The university has been ranked high by outer agencies also with regard to placements of our students. Several big brands of the industry have visited LPU campus during academic session 2016-2017 for campus placements like Hindustan Unilever, Arabol Lubricants Manufacturing LLC, Global Consumer Products Limited, Berger Paints, Vodafone (Punjab), etc. LPU students have also availed opportunities of Placements in government services like Indian Army, Indian Navy, Transport Corporation of India, etc., through on-campus/off-campus placement drives and SSB interviews. Hello, Placement at LPU is always applauded. I remember during my batch almost all the students got placed, there were hardly few left and those were determined for either higher education or some business plans. LPU saw participation from over 800 companies in the recent 2020 placements and saw a great jump in the highest package that reached 42 LPA. The highest stipend also touched Rs 80,000 for the final placements 2020. Recently one of my friend also completed his MBA from LPU. So I will share few stats of recently placements at LPU for your further clarification. LPU saw participation from over 650 companies in recent 2020 placements and saw a great jump in the highest package that reached 42 LPA. The highest stipend also touched Rs 80,000 for the final placements 2020. With a track record of 100% placements for most of its courses, the final placement session of LPU witnessed high salary packages offered by top-notch companies for 2018. As per the university officials, students of LPU received the highest number of appointment letters in the region. Keeping up with its high standards, over 550 national and international companies visited the campus this year including Hewlett Packard, Amazon, Abbott, IBM, Cognizant Technology Solutions, Google and Microsoft. The placements were segregated as dream packages and bulk recruiters. Apart from the final placements, a number of students were also hired for internship opportunities. Dear Bhuwan, One of my friends and I did MBA in HR at LPU and got placed in an MNC as an Executive HR. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect to polish your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. The package depends on what the student can show to the recruiters, how much he is worth or deserves. There were some students who cracked the placement and got offered 21 LPA, while many failed to do so. On average, the MBA students of LPU are offered and placed in the starting package of 4.5 TO 6 LPA (Fixed salary) while there may be cases of students getting less than that or more than that. Every year around 100-150 companies visit LPU to recruit MBAs. Among the companies are some big names like Amazon, Flipkart, Moody Analytics, ICICI, HDFC, AXIS, FEDERAL BANK, WNS GLOBAL, ITC, 99 Acres, COLGATE, ASIAN PAINTS, BERGER, NERO LAC, CAVIN CARE, etc. , from all domains visit LPU to recruit the students and these are good companies.
