LPU is a good university in terms of placements. Coming to the BTech in Civil placements, LPU has a very good record as the highest package offered is 31 LPA. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. LPU students have availed opportunities of Placements in government services like the Indian Army and Indian Navy, IAS IES, SSC, and Air Force. The students of the School of Civil Engineering have placed many students in national and international organizations like Al-Rakha, Simplex, Cognizant Soma enterprises, L&amp;T, Gammon, Zamil Infra, Unisys, Tech Mahindra, Xceedance, etc. The best thing I like about LPU about placement is, they provide placement classes to all the students from the very first year who opt for the placement. With the help of this, they can prepare themselves for placements till the pre-final year because the companies will start visiting for the recruitment of students from a pre-final year. Some of the students go for internships also in their final year. LPU received an Employability award by Aspiring Mind in 2020 for best placement Institute in India. LPU is ranked 10th best university for Training and Placement in 2019 by Knowledge Review LPU got the Golden Star Award 2018 for being the University with the best placements in India.
