This would be true for any university you enroll in. Now, I can give you some info about LPU MBA placements, as you asked, from feedback received from some students.
So, yes, LPU provides a good platform for placements for all streams and programs. LPU has a separate dept which looks after placement opportunities. apart from that, each school has its own placement coordinator who is responsible and actively works for not only calling companies to the campus, but also for preparing students for placements by giving them proper training.

The placement opportunities in LPU are much better than other private universities as it is ranked the 5th amongst the other universities for its placement records.
So, I would prefer you to choose LPU to pursue your higher studies.

Yes, there are a lot of companies which offer placements. The best placements are for Hotel Management, MBA, and B.Tech CSE and ECE. Companies such as Amazon, Adobe, VM Ware, Morgan Stanley visit LPU for placements. Moreover, there are a lot of self-efforts required by the students. It's not such like IIT's where you can chill all the time and get good placements. (They also don't chill out but are more confident due to obvious reasons), but you can compete with them in companies if you do hard work.
