LPU is mostly recognised throughout the nation for its modern infrastructure and its placements records. If we start the discussion with the highest placements records then it's as high as 42LPA in the field of B.Tech. And the average packages are also quite decent. The best part is that LPU is not only offering attractive packages but the percentage of students placed on campus is also high. It is recorded that in a single day Cognizant has hired 610 students. According to LPU officials they usually says that they provide 100% placements to all the eligible and placement aspiring candidates. More than 700 giant companies are visiting University campus to recruit the Industry ready candidates made by LPU. More than 900 drives are being conducted in a year. Now just imagine there are only 365 days in a year, and 900 placement drives are the big number, which simply means that students might witness 4-5 drives at every alternative days. LPU has its student organisation known as &quot;bridge, &quot; which conducts various events and competitions to bring forth creativity and to award the best engineer in the making. The consortium of former LPU alumni and an active group of engineering professionals with a sound civil background share their experience on various technologies, industries, methodologies, and processes adapted by many MNC. Actually Salary package depends on factors like specialisation, Institute, Company offering job, students academic performance, work experience etc. As a general rule for placements, a lot more will depend upon your own hard work, communication & presentation skills and overall preparation. This would be true for any university you enroll in. Also, in my view, I think you should not worry about the placements. If you work hard in the course and learn as much as you can, any company visiting the campus would be happy to hire you. However, you must not neglect polishing your communication skills as well, because companies will check that in their interviews. LPU provides plenty of opportunities to its students to take part in events, competitions, fests in order to let them grow their personality and give them a chance to polish their skills. Now, Being a alumni of LPU I would like share my experience in Lovely Professional university. LPU provides ample opportunities to each and every of the eligible students to secure good placement. Apart from that, internships as well as capstone projects are an integral part of curriculum which are very vital for getting placement. A lot of students have successfully started their own ventures as entrepreneurs. The university has its own start up school which promotes start ups in collaboration with startup India programme. University prepares its students for placements through special inputs in the form of placement classes from first year onward, it may be Soft-Skills, G. D, presentations, Extempores, Technical Interviews, Personal Interviews. To make the students to crack their dream companies Around 550+ companies visit every year for such activities and campus-recruitment of students from LPU.
