Is LPU a ragging and drug fre campus?

Ragging is prohibited in every college in India but these guidelines are not followed by many colleges except a few and this is something I experienced when I was studying in LPU. LPU is one of the safest campuses of the world. With 4000+ CCTV cameras, 400+ security persons, A+ fire stations and high tech security gadgets LPU ensure ragging free environment. LPU has a dedicated committee to deal with the issues of ragging and it is very strict against anyone doing ragging in any form in the campus. They even rusticate the student if found guilty. Some security features of LPU campus are: 1. Their security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. 2. LPU has Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. 3. Fun Fact, LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. In short, the LPU campus is completely drug and ragging free.

I have studied in this university and I never had seen any such acts neither faced such situations personally. Lovely Professional University is ragging free educational organisation. Campus is very strict about for ragging and violence. There is an Anti-Ragging Committee designed as well for looking on these topics. In the past 13 years no case has been reported for the same because LPU is very strict towards their rules and regulations. Its atmosphere is very friendly with lots of security persons in its 600 acres of campus. You will SEE one security person after every 100 meters and they show quick response. Also CCTV cameras are well installed around every corner of university to figure out any issue- in hostels, classrooms, gates, lawns etc. Ragging is totally prohibited in LPU, and anyone found guilty of ragging and/or abetting ragging, whether actively or passively or being a part of conspiracy of ragging is liable to be punished. University has an separate ANTI-RAGGING committee to monitor such activities inside campus. You would love the Environment here.

Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. The University has its very own fire station department, fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored.

PU is completely drug-free and has no ragging at all. LPU has Zero tolerance towards drugs & alcohol. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. And to help in this procedure there over 400 full-time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. Did you know that LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport? The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. Also, the staffs that LPU has for this security purpose are very well trained. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. I am a pass out from LPU and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here.
