    Yes, Lovely Professional University (LPU) is accredited by both the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

    UGC : LPU is recognized by the UGC, a statutory body of the Government of India. LPU Online is also entitled by the UGC-DEB to offer programs in online mode.

    NAAC : LPU has received the highest NAAC grade A+ with a score of 3.68 on a scale of 4.  Illustriously, it is the highest score in 1st cycle of accreditation among all Government and Private Universities.

    I don't know about LPU but CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY is NAAC A+ accredited. It is the most prestigious accreditation by NAAC.

    Strange question. Because answers to these questions can be easily found on the website of the university in question. Go to the website and have a look at the mandatory declaration. Further to clear your doubts you can refer to the list of credible universities in India. I mean if you are asking this question there must be some doubt in mind related to creditworthiness. To do away with such confusion UGC keeps publishing details of fair universities from where a degree can be earned.
