I don't know about LPU but CHANDIGARH UNIVERSITY is NAAC A+ accredited. It is the most prestigious accreditation by NAAC.

LPU has all the necessary accreditation- Accreditation 1. UGC University Grants Commission (UGC) 2. Association Of Indian Universities (AIU) 3. University Grants Commission - Distance Education Bureau (UGC-DEB) 4. National Council For Teacher Education (NCTE) 5. Council Of Architecture (COA) 6. Pharmacy Council Of India (PCI) 7. Bar Council Of India (BCI) 8. Indian Council Of Agricultural Research (ICAR) 9. The Institution Of Engineers (India) 10. Institute Of Town Planners, India (ITPI) The international accreditation and memberships are 1. International Association Of Universities (IAU), France 2. Association Of Commonwealth Universities (ACU), UK 3. The Institute Of International Education (IIE), New York 4. Accreditation Council For Business Schools And Programs (ACBSP), USA NAAC is an accreditation body, which comes under the University Grants Commission of India. So, apparently, a college does not compulsorily require NAAC accreditation and it solely depends on the college or university whether to apply for it or not. However, despite being accredited by so many rankings and accreditation in just a couple of years of its establishment, LPU is on its way to achieving NAAC accreditation too has already passed all the parameters required for NAAC and will soon acquire it too.

Strange question. Because answers to these questions can be easily found on the website of the university in question. Go to the website and have a look at the mandatory declaration. Further to clear your doubts you can refer to the list of credible universities in India. I mean if you are asking this question there must be some doubt in mind related to creditworthiness. To do away with such confusion UGC keeps publishing details of fair universities from where a degree can be earned.
