    There are various accreditation earned by LPU.     Being an LPU alumni as well as an existing student over there I would like to answer your query. As per my knowledge, LPU is recognized by University Grant Commission (UGC). And also LPU has applied for NAAC approval. LPU is already recognized by UGC. UGC is University Grants Commission whereas NAAC is the National Assessment and Accreditation Council. UGC approves a College or University whereas NAAC accredits the programs offered in the University or institute.     LPU is UGC accredited. Though both UGC and NAAC are similar organization and comes under HRD ministry, Government of India. Till now, LPU is not NAAC accredited as it is not necessary if you are already a UGC member. Though it raises university reputation and also LPU passes all the parameters for being an NAAC accreditation and soon will be part of it .
