It lays thrust on carrying out research in agricultural and allied fields.     Yes, it is
    I won't say it's the best college when compared to other government universities. LPU is the first private University in India that is ICAR accredited by ICAR. There are some private colleges in Maharashtra also which you can admission through the payment as far I listened they are not up to mark. When coming to faculty in LPU most of the faculty will be Ph.D. candidates they are good at teaching and very helpful for the students. Unlike government university's faculty's cannot skip the lectures in LPU. At the end of the semester, the faculty need to cover the skipped lectures too by conducting extra makeup classes. Research
