Hi there, you don't need to worry. LPU conducts its own entrance exam, LPU NEST. LPU NEST is an entrance test conducted by LPU for admission in various programs. It aims to check how far the concepts from the previous qualification are clear. Those who have studied honestly will be able to make it. The syllabus of LPU NEST is all that you have studied in your previous qualification. In addition to it, there are questions of reasoning, verbal ability, analytical ability are also there. LPU NEST is a proctored exam and questions are asked in the form of MCQs. The result is displayed on the dashboard of the student after 24 hrs. One gets two chances of attempting LPU NEST. The best of the two results will be applicable for a scholarship. One has to register oneself with the university and pay online for taking LPU NEST.

Dear AYUSH Don't worry if you have not qualified for the JEE Main exam. You can give LPU NEST exam and get admission at LPU in the B.Tech CSE degree programme. I have also done my MBA from LPU and one of my friend's younger brothers is studying over there in B.Tech CSE. There are some points I would like to share about why CSE is good from LPU. B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering is related with algorithms, computation, programming languages, programme design, computer hardware, computer software etc. It is a comprehensive course in computer systems and applications. The students who pursue the course of Computer Science Engineering are taught about design, the implementation as well as management of computer software and hardware. Eligibility Details :Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 (with Physics Mathematics and English or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. For a candidate, who has not studied English as a subject, the condition of English may be waived off provided the candidate in his qualifying exam has studied in English medium. (5% relaxation to North East states and Sikkim candidates/ Defence Personnel and their Dependents/ Wards of Kashmir Migrants).
