Is LPU good for B.Tech CSE? Why I should Opt LPU instead Of BITS pilani?

As an alumni I must say the B.Tech CSE in LPU is the best. Let me share the course highlights. The Department takes immense pride in offering innovative Live Projects that will help in providing technical exposure to the students while developing state of the art applications. The Department continues to strive for excellence by embarking on ambitious endeavors BYOD, Industry Tie-ups with industries like Google, SAP, Oracle, Vmware, DELL EMC, Rule Book Based Best IT Practices, Deep-Dive Virtual Academy Programme, Immersive Mentor-ship Model, Best Projects Show-case Carnival. Also, LPU student enjoy pre-orientation for joining with HCL. (In-communication) HP ESFor HP industry ready LPU students. Being an alumni of LPU I had lot of friends in CSE stream so I had an idea about the B.Tech CSE. It depend upon your interests as well as preference which one you want to choose as both the above institutes are fair enough. 1 Placements :Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft in 2019-20. 2. Accreditation : Every year, more than 30,000 students graduate from LPU across all disciplines. Accredited by most technical bodies such as UGC, NCTE, PCI, IAP, COA, BCI, and AIU, LPU has covered massive ground since being founded back in 2005. Already amongst the top private colleges students keep on their checklist, the potential for LPU to grow further seems apparent. 3. Faculty: LPU composed of the best faculty members from IIM, IITs and the other best B schools. 4. Upgraded Approach: LPU is highly upgraded in its parameters as it includes paperless attendance, online assignments, submission etc. We can also raise our grievances online itself 5. Tie Ups: B tech in CSE has tied up with upgrade which helps to explore in better manner 6. Scholarships: There are numerous scholarships which are available in this university. Dear Nomanjee, Yes, LPU is good for the B.Tech in the CSE programme. It is in high demand at LPU due to its the highest placements. My friends also did this programme there and now working in different MNCs such as Amazon, Cognizant, etc. There are a few points I would like to share about why CSE is good for LPU. Good Placement: LPU has a good placement record for CSE students. Every year more than 500+ companies including national and multinational companies visit LPU for placement. A few of them are Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, etc. In which they are placed. The maximum package availed for CSE is 42 lacs. Per annum by Microsoft. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. Scholarships: LPU provides scholarships to bright students every year worth crore rupees to all the students based on their academics, extracurricular activities, and other factors. Faculty: All faculty members are well qualified from IITs, NITs, Iims, and top-ranked universities all over the world. Tie-ups: B.Tech in CSE has tie-ups with industries that help students to explore themselves more in their field such as IBM, Intel, Xebia, Upgrade, etc. Specializations: CSE students get many specializations while studying CSE to enhance their knowledge according to their interests such as Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Cloud Computing, Cyber Security, Data Science, etc. Apart from this, many opportunities and scholarships are there in LPU while studying for bright students in academics and extracurricular activities.
