    LPU is the best university for engineering courses. Lovely Professional University takes pride in obtaining the NABL accreditation.     Lovely Professional University is the only private university in India that has attained the NABL accreditation in the field of mechanical testing of building and construction materials. With better theoretical and practical knowledge, students are much more competent than any other university. Actually I did CSE from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU.     Lovely Professional University is a good private university for the Civil Engineering programme. LPU offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Civil Engineering. One of my best friends completed both B.Tech and M.Tech in Civil Engineering from LPU. He got placement as well while studying there. The faculty of LPU are trained professionals who have studied at top universities of the country and have worked with industrial giants and also are equipped with academic excellence.     Hi Brijesh, at LPU it is an engineering programme that articulates the concepts from basic Science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental, Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations. LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
