As per my knowledge and findings, LPU is one of the best universities to pursue MCA. Scholarships are provided on the basis of graduation scores. The campus environment is good. Placements: Placements of this university are awesome, and many companies like Amazon, CTS, TCS, Flipkart, and Solve, etc. , visit the campus for placements. Almost 90% of students get placed during the course, while the placements also depend on the students' performance. LPU offers all of the above-mentioned courses with certain eligibility and needs the LPU NEST entrance test to qualify for availing scholarships and further Admission into the programme. LPU has been also been known on many grounds particularly: 1. Top 50 Private Universities by India Today 2. Ranked as Best Private University by ASSOCHAM recently. 3. PU is good for MCA programme and this university is also providing the scholarship to most of the students. The place is also good last time many students visited there. In last session many university visited there for the MCA recruitment. As per their Statistics, 800+ Recruiters have hired LPU students, Rs 42 Lac the highest Salary package availed with 250+ Companies offering Dream Packages with 110+ Recruiters of IITs/Iims/NITs also hire from LPU along with this Rs 80k the highest Internship Stipend per month was offered. Admission in any programme depends on qualifying the Eligibility criteria for that programme. LPU offers a course in MCA which states the more one code in the lab, the more one becomes employable is the credo behind the design of this programme. It is ensured that the learner has coded more than 2000 lines of code during industry internship projects. They just done only script a programme in the most happening platforms but are also taught to be resource savvy. Robotics, Cloud Computing and advanced programming techniques make this programme unique and make the learner stand out in crowd. For an MCA the eligibility is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science) or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years or B.A. Or B.Com. Or B.Sc. (any Graduation) with (Mathematics as one of the subject at Graduation or 10+2 level) or equivalent, subject to qualifying LPU NEST. There are wonderful placement opportunity as well.
