Civil Engineering provides a diverse range of academic options. It focuses not only on teaching civil engineering topics but also on the actual application of the principles and theories. Lovely Professional University is the only private university in India that has attained the NABL accreditation in the field of mechanical testing of building and construction materials. With better theoretical and practical knowledge, students are much more competent than any other university. Actually I did MBA from Lovely Professional University but I have one friend who has done B.Tech Civil Engineering From LPU. He told me B.Tech in civil engineering course involves so much more than theoretical know-how. In addition to classroom lectures, students here learn via hands-on experiences which include site visits, lab sessions and so

LPU is generally considered a solid option for pursuing B.Tech in Civil Engineering, but whether it is very good depends on what your priorities are (core civil work vs broader job roles, cost, etc.).

LPU offers well‑equipped facilities for civil engineering students: structural analysis labs, soil/geo‑mechanics, surveying labs, material testing, concrete & structural testing, etc.

Faculty have good education qualifications (M.Tech / Ph.D.), industry exposure, and the curriculum is reported to include modern civil engineering topics (smart building, structural design, geo‑technical etc.)
