Is LPU is providing hostel facility to students?

I can feel the excitement in people who are looking forward to starting their hostel life in Lovely Professional University. Many of you might be very curious about the look and interior of the hostel. Being a girl. I must say that Lovely Professional University is one of the best university. For security purpose it is very reliable for the girls students. It also contributes the gratification to the parents as well because we are living far away from our homes. The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel. This University have stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises. This University have Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university. I stayed in LPU hostel during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences. I was staying with two more roommates. The rooms will be of two types-Air conditioned and Air cooler.3 Seater hostels rooms has 3 iron B.Ed,3 Plastic Chair,3 almirah, geyser with attached washroom. Our rooms were spacious, gave us privacy and also gave us space to hangout with friends and chit chat, do projects, spend movie nights and game on! Apart from this they are providing other facilities also- Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only. In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/Geyser/Air cooler). 24 hours security. Laundry Services (optional on payment basis) hygienic and nutritious vegetarian meals (optional) Hostel counsellors ( solve the problems of students in context of family issues, studies, home sickness etc. ) Laundry facility Gym facility to remain fit Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. You can't carry alcohol and smoking products inside the campus and hostels. Each and every facility you will get inside the campus so why to move out. I would prefer Hostel instead of PGs.

In the weekends, DSW (Department of student welfare organizes various activities related to sports and entertainment for hostel students. 9. Hostels are fully air-cooled with the option of both cooler and AC. 10. The rooms have attached the washroom and each student has a separate B.Ed chair, study table, fan, almirah with locker facility. Power backup for light load only (not for AC/ Geyser/ Air cooler). Mess facility with vegetarian meals only. Parking two wheeler/car facility at designated places only. Gymnasium (optional on payment basis). Students in residential facility are permitted to keep Electrical Kettles, Electrical Irons, Steamer, Laptop, Mobile Charger, Shaving Set, Trimmer, Hair Straightener and Hair Dryer. Extra electricity bill due to the usage of these electrical items will be borne by the occupants of that room.

Hi, Yes, LPU offers students the option of staying in a hostel. LPU's hostels are well-managed and provide one of the safest living environments for students. LPU has a zero-tolerance policy for ragging and other illegal acts, with over 4000 CCTV cameras and over 400 security personnel. The hostels are equipped with every facility that is required like an attached washroom, AC/Air cooler, etc. I would like to highlight some of the features. 1. Turnstile gates are there at the entry of every hostel, and CCTvs are also installed in every hostel for security reasons. Moreover, security guards are there in every hostel, and on campus, you will find security guards at every 100 m. 2. Proper cleaning is there for hostel rooms. 3.24*7 electricity, water supply, and Wi-fi facility. 4. If there is any issue related to the room, you can put online requests or complaints about the same (RMS) through UMS. For eg, If the fan stopped working just lodge the complaint and it will be resolved as soon as possible. 5. Apart from mess facilities, every hostel has a departmental store as well as a canteen so that all the student's needs are fulfilled. Thanks.

A big Yes ! Yes, I have spent 4 years in LPU and I lived in a hostel and LPU Hostel has a lot of facilities in following ways 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. Separate residential Facility for the students with different seater. 4. Rooms are with Beds, study table, chair, almirahs, desert cooler, and geyser. 5 AC rooms are also available in the above category. 6. Differential and hygienic food facility and Mess and canteen facility in every hostel is there. 7. Laundry facility 8. Gym facility to remain fit 9. Over and above the medical facility being provided inside the beautiful campus. 10. 24*7 electricity supply and Wi-Fi. 11. There are general facilities such as a dedicated hotline and power backup for 24 hrs power supply at the university campus. 12.60+ATMs of 5 nationalized banks and Post Office facilities for money transfer, speed post, etc. 13. Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility. 14. University-Mall, an eight-storied complex, houses departmental stores, various shops, banks, food courts. These help students to meet their daily needs on the campus itself. 15. LPU has the largest residential capacity in the world. In order to ensure proper safety and security of the children. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. LPU has a set of rules regarding hostel life and its facilities. LPU provides convenience to your doorstep but expects proper adhering to their discipline structure and code of conduct. 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules. Hostel Rules: 1) Boys are allowed to go outside campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 2) Hostellers (Girls) are not allowed to go outside the university at any given point of time, to go outside the university, permissions from parents is taken to provide them with the GATE pass. 3) Girls have to enter their specific hostels in specified time duration ie 7 pm. Special Permission will be extended to student for day/night out with the written permission of Warden & Parents. Student needs to post the request on the UMS for weekend outing and avail the due permission from parents & warden for the same. The accommodation at LPU is apartment style. Here are few highlights: 1. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit of the residential facility. 2. Clean & Green Environment 3. LPU Hostels are allotted for full academic session. 1 seater to 6 seater hostels is available in the campus and expense for each one varies accordingly. For staying in a 4 seater hostel, both air cooled and air conditioned rooms are available. As per your preference you can choose any one of them.

Residential facility at campus is much safer and secure as 24 X 7 X 365 security is available and CCTVs are installed at all prominent locations throughout the campus. Security is in the hands of experienced security staff. Turnstile Gates: The entry to residential facilities are regulated through automated turnstile (as in metro railway) and biometric machines and data is saved in computerized data base to track the movement of students/ visitor. Mess in the residential facility provides good quality, hygienic, nutritious mess and multi cuisine menu served four times a day. Constant vigil over vendors is the prime reason for good quality mess plan at residential accommodation. There is an automatic chapatti making machine in every residential accommodation which is hygienic and time saving. Students also have the option of having their mess occasionally or for nonmess opting students at cafeteria provided within residential premises and at various strategic locations within the campus. Medical Facility: University has 30 bedded hospital within the campus and 24 hours medical and Ambulance services are available. Hospital is staffed with Resident Medical Offi cers, Specialists, Physician Assistants, Medical Lab. Technologists, Nurses, Dieticians, Physiotherapists and Psychologists. Banks and ATM Facility : At Campus, we have branches of 5 nationalized banks. In addition, there are 55+ ATMs of different banks within the university campus. Library and Lab facility: Students residing in University campus can avail the Library facility till late hours, presently from 8.00 am till midnight. Labs and workshop facilities are also available till late hours for practicing Internet connectivity: Being a tech savvy University, students generally accomplish their work through internet. Internet connectivity for scheduled timings through Wi-Fi system for academic purposes is available at campus through leased line of 650 Mbps. With 4000+ CCTV cameras and more than 400 security persons, LPU has zero tolerance towards ragging or any other unlawful activities. In my opinion one should stay in hostel of LPU because those hostels are maintained quiet well. There are many benefits of staying in hostel. LPU also has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles ensuring that every movement is monitored. So you cannot sneak out unnecessary from your hostels. Entry of boys is strictly prohibited in girls hostel and vice versa. Entry in boys hostel after 8 pm is restricted and is allowed only after consulting the warden. The hostel has many variants. You can opt for Single seater, 2 seater, 4 seater or 6 seater depending upon the availability of the same. If you have any problem with your room partner then you can report your concern to the warden.

Indeed Yes it does. Being an alumnus let me share with you the hostel facilities. The residential faculty & staff provide after-hours guidance and support to the students, in case they need any academic or life advice. Sports facility is being introduced with membership of 3 different packages of games:SwimmingShootingSquash, Badminton, Volleyball, Basketball and Combative sports. Students can join all these memberships on a yearly basis. The campus has a 24 hours 30 B.Ed hospital which is staffed with resident medical officers, medical lab, dieticians and physiotherapists. In house laundry services are available at a nominal charges to students. Keeping student's requirements in mind, University offers quality residence (offering above average necessities) for their living comforts. Become independent! Students residing in the campus can earn while studying by taking up part time jobs in labs, library, sales, shopping mall etc. Become independent! Yes, LPU provides a hostel facility to the students. The facilities provided in the hostel are pretty good. There are various facilities provided at the hostels like free Wi-Fi, every room is provided with an air-cooler if one has opted for non-AC rooms and water heater which will provide you with 24- hours hot water and also 24- hours drinking water which is well purified. Wardens of the hostel here are also helpful and will provide solutions to your problems as soon as possible. The online portal is open for students to Register any type of problem which is known as RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM(RMS). Let me enlist the facility once more. Rooms with attached washroom, B.Ed table, chair, and almirahs. Air cooler or AC facility (as opted for)/fan. Hot water in winters (scheduled timings). Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only. In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students.
