Dear Student, YES, LPU is recognised by the UGC. LPU has received the approval by UGC in the year 2006 to perform its activities at University Level. In order to SEE the proof for the same you can visit to their official website where you can find the document pertaining to the UGC approval for Lovely Professional University. I hope it helps.

LPU is recognised by UGC. As per my knowledge, any college or institute cannot become a university without the approval of UGC. In India, LPU is recognised by the University Grant Commission (UGC), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), and the Council of Architecture (COA) and approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). It is also a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Internationally, LPU is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business School and Programs (ACBSP) and a member of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU). .
