LPU-NEST is an entrance test to get admission in LPU but not for all courses. There are various courses like B.Arch where NATA qualified students get admission and LPUNEST only plays the role for scholarship, BPE, where only PET qualified students are eligible and LPU-NEST plays the role of scholarship only.
The five-year full-time B.Arch program at LPU offers a comprehensive blend of theoretical and practical knowledge to equip students with the skills to plan, design, and construct various physical structures. The program covers topics such as design approach, inter-relationship of function, circulation, structure, material and construction, climatology, services, form, aesthetics, and knowledge of the built environment. Students engage in activities such as schematic drawings, project reports, physical models, and 3D visualizations to comprehend architectural design and the urban realm context.
The program also involves analysis and appraisal of various aspects, including anthropometry, building technology, materials, structural analysis and design, history, art, culture, humanities, landscape, assessment methods, architectural computation, and resource management. Students also evaluate the legal and regulatory framework applicable to planning and designing architectural and urban scale projects.
