Is LPU or D.Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune good for MBA?

Hi I would vouch for LPU due to various reasons: 1. Ranked number 2 among Indian B-Schools in Outreach and Inclusivity by NIRF 2. Among the first 10 institutions to get ACBSP (USA) Accreditation 3. Alumni are working top brands like Google, Apple, and Facebook some of the most sought after jobs today 4. 55+ campus recruitment drives with reputed brands like ITC Limited, MRF, Kellogs, etc. 5. International companies like Hyatt (USA), Adani Wilmar (Africa), Al Rakha (Dubai) recruit from LPU 6. Practo, one of the leading startup has recruited 28 students from LPU. 7. Students learn through simulations, case studies and industrial visits. There is a mall on campus wherein you can set up your store to explore entrepreneurial skills (Your own startup). 8. You also get the opportunity to consult local as well as international businesses as part of the curriculum. 9. Partnered with National Stock Exchange (NSE) and various other companies to help in design the curriculum. 10. LPU supports innovation and research and hence provides students with such opportunities. There are 15+entrepreneurial ventures on campus. Both are relatively same overall. I would suggest giving preference to the location whichever is nearby you as leaving DY Patil and your house as well will not lead you to gain something worth sacrificing your family or something better which you would get better than DY Patil Vidyapeeth.

LPU is known for its MBA. LPU provides quality education, with great scholarship programs plus holistic learning opportunities. Mittal School of Business is among the first 10 institutions in India to get ACBSP (USA) accreditation, Mittal School of Business ranked among the top 40 Management institutions in India, as per NIRF ranking 2021. The curriculum is made keeping in mind the current market trends. The placements are 100%, and students have special placement-oriented classes that serve as a booster for students to clear the exam and interview. Companies like Hyatt, Ritz Carlton, Adani Wilmar, Altruist, Al-Rakha, Dharam Consultancy selected LPU students for International locations. The highest package availed is 21 LPA. Dear Shubhash, Both LPU and D. Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune are good institutes. But I have no idea of the MBA programme offered by D. Y Patil Vidyapeeth, Pune. I did an MBA programme at LPU. So. Being alumni of LPU, I highly recommend LPU for an MBA degree based on the following things- The Business School of LPU is accredited by ACBSP, Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs from the USA ensuring quality education and industry-experienced faculty members, studying in LPU will get a degree accredited from a body of USA. Placement: Every year more than 550+ companies visit LPU for placements. LPU has a very good placement and achieved awards for employability also. The main thing for placement that I liked there is that LPU provides placement classes to the students from the first year, which helps students prepare for placement until their final year of the programme. The highest package offered for the management programme is 21 LPA. Specialisation offered in MBA: Agribusiness Management, Human Resource, Marketing, International Business, Financial Markets, Digital Market, Hospital and Healthcare, Business Analytics, Banking and Financial Services, Operations, Artificial Intelligence, etc. Scholarships: LPU provides very good scholarships to bright students with good academic records, sports, or extracurricular activities achievement. <p>Comparing LPU and D.Y. Patil, both are established brands, but as a student, I think LPU is a notch above for MBA. The university provides a very vibrant campus life alongside very strong academic exposure. Being connected to the industry and having a slate of guest speakers, fests, case study competitions, and even opportunities to interact with top corporates creates a lot of room in building confidence. The placements are also varied, covering both startups and large multinationals. LPU also has a flexible curriculum that allows everyone to choose subjects from their interest. The peer group also has great diversity because students are coming from all parts of India and abroad, allowing you to learn about cultures, ideas, and understand various perspectives. DY Patil is also a reputed university, but I find LPU to be much more vibrant, career-oriented, flexible, the faculty is supportive, and for students, I believe it gives the opportunity to gain knowledge and practical exposure simultaneously.</p>
