In my opinion, LPU is a good option. Faculty members are mostly Ph.D. holders with specialisation in various fields like Aerospace Engineering, Automobile Engineering, CAD/CAM, Engineering Design, Industrial Engineering, Machine Tool Engineering, Robotics, Thermal Engineering, etc. This school of LPU has the Advanced Machine workshops where specialised types of equipment are available such as EDM, CNC Turning, VMC Tata Micrometer, Magnetic V Block, Bore Gauge, Puppy dial test Indicator, Dial indicator, Cutting tool holder CPU (Dual Core 1.6 GHz, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB HDD Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual CPU E2140 @1.60 Ghz.1 GB RAM (upgraded to

LPU team Illuminati Racers was one of them, 1st Runner Up in Design Competition of Efficycle held in LPU in collaboration with SAE India North Zone, even students got selection in Honda Ltd, Maruti Suzuki, Tata, Tech Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, BHEL, L&T, Siemens, Reliance, John Deer, Cognizant, Anglo-Eastern Ship management, Zycus, Think and Learn, XL Dynamics, Lava International, Unisys, JET Airways, Daikin Air-conditioning, Honda, Voltas, TATA motors, Cummins India and the list is long. Students of this school of LPU also got selected in VOLTAS International at the package of 11.9 Lacs. ASSOCHAM rated LPU as Best Private University with regards to placements. Zee News Survey rated LPU 11th Best in India in Placements. The packages vary from 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum. On average, the packages are 5 Lacs in a very core company. Students have got top packages from leading tech companies. At last, I would say LPU has always been known for placements and ranking, hence I would LPU is best for this course. I had the same question when I was looking out for college for my B.Tech I was confused between Delhi Technological University, Delhi, and Lovely Professional University Phagwara. But after discussions, thinking, and recommendations from my relatives ( Allummni of LPU) I joined LPU. It was actually a great decision. As per my experience, LPU is the best place for engineering. Mechanical engineering is the discipline that applies engineering physics, engineering mathematics, and materials Science principles to design, analyze, manufacture, and maintain mechanical systems. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. It is the branch of engineering that involves the design, production, and operation of machinery. The Mechanical Engineering department had the most ideal study environment since I have two friends from that stream and they both got placed in Hyundai India Motor Ltd. As far as Mechanical engineering is concerned, I can tell you this course carries extra baggage and it is very fruitful if you choose LPU as a medium. I would like to share their experiences:-
A Mechanical Engineering student goes through an experiential learning process surrounded by high-end the latest labs and equipment including robotics and automation. International tech-fests and competitions encourage all-round development in students in addition to giving them international exposure. LPU alumni are working in top MNCs across the globe like Voltas International, Honda Two Wheelers, Asahi India Glass Ltd. , Indo Farm Tractors Ltd. etc. LPU Students have been offered International locations like Dubai and Oman by Voltas. PEP classes start right away from the first semester itself in form of Communication Skills and continue till the final semester covering: Analytical Skills (Logic Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning) Quantitative Aptitude Skills Technical Aptitude Skills Presentations and Soft Skills Mock Exercises (Mock Interviews, GDs, Mock Tests, etc. ). All a student has to do is to maintain a good academic record and personality to ensure his/her placement. Many people have their views that LPU students study less but to complete the statement, I would say that the students work hard. The most prominent and wide tech fest for mechanical students is GO Kart race that took place in LPU for consecutive years and LPU is bagging the top position in the race. There are more than 100 companies that are coming in LPU for recruitment of mechanical students. The packages varies from 3 Lacs to 12 Lacs per annum. On an average, the packages are 5 Lacs in a very core company which gradually sees a couple of rapid promotions based on your handwork. Students have got top packages from leading tech companies.
