Each and every branch in engineering is good, we can't compare them. Mechanical, electrical and civil are the evergreen branches but CS, IT and EC have high placement records.
Other than this you may also take chemical, metallurgy, mechatronics, etc.

LPU is actually a really good option for Mechanical Engineering, especially for someone from a small village or a financially weak background. The university has strong labs, good faculty, and regular hands-on training through workshops, industrial visits, and live projects. One of the biggest advantages is that LPU offers a wide range of scholarships based on 10+2 marks-and with 98.1%, you can get a very high scholarship, which makes your fee much more affordable. Many students from simple backgrounds study there and end up getting good placements in companies like Honda, Hyundai, VOLTAS, Tata, Mahindra, and many more. Overall, if you
