Hi LPU offers more than 150 courses, and there are certain eligibility criteria that a student is required to meet to take admission. In general, the score in the previous qualification should be as required as per eligibility mentioned on the website. In addition to that, the candidate needs to qualify LPUNEST to get admission to courses like B.Tech., MBA, Hons, B.Pharm, MLT etc. For some courses like BA, B.Comm, BBA etc LPUNEST is not mandatory. LPUNEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test) is a national-level entrance test conducted by LPU and is considered for offering scholarships as well as deter

Hi,LPUNest is a test conducted for eligibility/ scholarship. IT is mandatory only for a few selected courses. Rest you can give to get an added scholarship scale. The syllabus and paper pattern is given on the website too.
You need to apply for admission and then apply for LPUNest which would be an online proctored test this time due to the grim condition of the country because of the pandemic.
Book your seat fast as online admission have started already.
    Good Luck.

It is not mandatory for all courses. It is for courses like B.Tech admissions as LPU eligibility criteria is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in 10+2 or equivalent (with Physics, Mathematics and English)* subject to qualifying LPUNEST (B.Tech.)
Due to the grim pandemic conditions you can take admission on the basis of your last qualification and fill the LPUNest rest for online [proctored mode. The syllabus and the paper pattern is given on the website also.
LPUNest is an eligibility/scholarship test. You can get an increased slab of scholarship, if you score well in the test.If you get 90%+ you get direct admission and even without LPUNe

    Dear Rj,
LPUNEST is mandatory for qualifying to get into coveted CSE program as asked by you.
However this year, the requirements have been relaxed a bit, now JEE MAINS is also being considered for the same.
One more important update is : You can get directly into the program if you have scored over 90% in the 10+2 with Maths, Physics and English.
This will no only make you directly eligible, but also get you highest scholarship of 40% of program fee for full curse duration.
    Hope this helps
