One of my friends also completed the same from LPU and is now working in a magazine as a model number busy with other assignments also. (Film and TV Production) LPU has its own in campus media channel- Y TV, where the students work and have hands-on experience of the real-life media channel scenario. Apart from this, there are many other events like Coke Studio, YouthVibe, etc. Taking place where the students are made part of it to give them the field experience. Most of these things are part of their curriculum. Regular educational trips to various newspapers, channels, etc. Are arranged for students. It all depends on your interests. One may get into a highly paying job, but one is not interested in it, one won't be able to make it in the long run. Film and TV Production are creative fields. The lifeline of these creative fields is writing. If one has is fond of reading then sky is the limit, however for films there are some other skills tagged. In TV production, one can become a script writer, online editor, assistant director, choreographer, Camera Production Assistant, Motion Control Operator, Assistant Director, Assistant production Controller, Camera Operator Camera Assistant Initially. After that as when gradually keeps getting experience one can gradually keep moving higher in the heirarchy. Of course, film and TV production does fetch one more money than journalism.
