Yes, without mathematics you can't calculate and without calculation you can't do physical measurement and without physical measurement from chemical or of physics, it can't be possible to become an engineer. So, mathematics is must to become an engineer.

Hi, i think i am qualified to answer this question.
I did my B.tech in electrical engineering where i had some friends from non-math background.
They surely were facing many issues with differentiation and integrations.
So i suggest you to take math classes before if you want to opt for Electrical. -
