    Firstly, in medical Science you attain knowledge for others rather than yourself. Let me explain it with an example. Suppose you are a general practitioner and a case of infant with pneumonia comes to you and you have not adequately trained yourself to treat the disease. There is a high chance that you will misdiagnose it and God forbid may even take his life. For you it might be just a case but for the family it will be devastating.     Yes, doing MBBS and being a doctor is excessively stressful. Medicine, as a course, is related to heavy academic pressure, long hours of studies, and difficult exams in general.
    This continues further in the form of long and irregular working hours, high responsibility, and the emotional burden that comes with the care of patients once they become doctors. At times, staying updated about medical advancements and managing life-and-death situations may be stressful also.
