Masters in any field, is a specialisation in a field. Similarly, Masters in Business Law (from NLS Bangalore or otherwise) is a specialisation in the field of business law. In terms of degree, yes, it is equivalent to any other Masters degree. However, there are some colleges (like Faculty of law, Delhi University) that do have the option of a general LL. M. where subjects can be chosen by the pupils. LL. M. is a good option in terms of academics. For someone who wants to pursue a career in litigation, LL. M. does not really add value in terms of job prospects. Be that as it may, a higher education does help in building a good reputati

Master degree from any university will fetch you with a degree of same value.
But if you are talking about the weight of the degree, then yes, an MBL from NLS, Bangalore will surely give you an upper hand in getting a job because nowadays, the reputation of the university matters in getting a job at least. Just like a master done from Havard or Oxford will give you an upper hand among students having a master from any university in India because the reputation of Havard is way more than any University in India. Hi,
First of all, any law degree that is pursued is a Master's degree irrelevant to what the Masters is studied in. A Masters from NLS actually is considered to be of more weightage too. So have no doubts, an MBL is also a Master's degree nevertheless & will fetch you an upper hand if you're trying to get into a corporation company post education.

Yes MBL, NLSIU has a very good course content indeed. It is a PG degree in quality education. I myself enrolled and found it a good course but it requires time and lots of hard work to get it. Once you are an MBL degree holder, definitely you'll get a great knowledge boost with a brand name which is NLSIU.
