    LPU offers MCA and MCA Hons in Lateral entry for students who qualify the eligibility criteria.
    It is pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) with mathematics as a course at 12th or Graduation level or equivalent.

    Yes, MCA lateral entry is the best option for a student who has completed BCA. MCA [Lateral Entry]
    Duration : 2 yrs. (4 Semesters) and he needs a pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc. (Information Technology) or B.Sc. (Computer Science) with mathematics as a course at 12th or Graduation level or equivalent.if you choose a college with care t can do wonders to your career because you would get a training which would support your placements and if you want to pursue research , the college would provide good research opportunities like LPU offers special aids for candidates interested in research.

    Yes, you can pursue for MCA lateral entry after completing BCA.
    I am aware of one of the best University which is renowned and has many rankings in its credit. It's none other than LPU, which has gained many heights in the period of 2 decades of its existence. I personally believe that gaining height is directly correlated with the quality delivered.
    On inquiring from the counsellors of LPU, I came to know that you can pursue MCA and MCA Hons in Lateral entry but you need to meet the eligibility criteria.

    Yes, MCA is there for students who completed BCA. The student can take admission in lateral entry and get directly admitted to second year of MCA.

    You can go ahead with MCA programme after completion of BCA, the eligibility criteria of the same is Pass with 60% aggregate marks in BCA or B.Sc.(Computer Science) or B.Sc.(Information Technology) or any Graduation with Computer Science as a subject for three years OR with ((BA/B.Com/B.Sc. (any Graduation) with Mathematics at 10+2 level or graduation level) or equivalent.
