NATA is one of the two Aptitude tests together with JEE paper 2 for admission into B.Arch course. It is compulsory to write and pass NATA to join B.Arch anywhere in the country. But, there are exceptions also. You can join the Schools of Planning and Architecture under MHRD by writing JEE (Mains) paper 2.

With exposure to an international environment, access to the latest tools, software, and technology, our students become architects that create buildings and infrastructure that are globally acknowledged. Yes, it is compulsory for government colleges, but not in private colleges. In many private colleges, you can appear for their own entrance level test and avoid NATA.

NATA is one of those exams compulsory for getting admission in some of the best B.Arch colleges out there. If you are looking for top institutes to clear NATA and other Architecture exams, then I'll personally recommend you to enroll with BRDS. It has the highest selection of students in NATA JEE-B.Arch, CEPT as compared to other coaching institutes in India.
