I think the new pattern is better but they should have informed the students about this change in pattern atleast 2-3months back, so that students would get sufficient time to prepare themselves according to the new pattern. Changing the entire pattern just few days before the final exam is a bit challenging for us. Because we have been practicing on the old pattern for years. It kind of became a habit and changing this habit is quite challenging. It's taking time to get habitual with these changes.

Yes, it is a good pattern, but they should inform about this new pattern at least six months before the exam.
