  • NIT Sikkim is a government funded college. It is established in 2010. The college is approved by AICTE and it is recognised by UGC. It offers several Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Certificate programmes in various courses such as B.E, M.E, PHD, BTECH, and B.Sc, etc.  The admission to the college are solely based om the entrance examination. The entrance exam accepted by tge college are JEE, GATE, UGC NET, GC CSIR, IIT JAM, and IAT, etc. The college offers high placement opportunities to the students.     One of India's 31 National Institutes of Technology, the National Institute of Technology Sikkim (also known as NIT SKM) has been designated by the Indian government as an Institute of National importance. It operates independently and is overseen by the Indian government's Ministry of Education. According to the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for engineering institutes in India, NIT Sikkim is rated 173 in 2022.

    The National Institute Of Technology Sikkim is a public engineering and research institution. Moreover, NIT Sikkim is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).  The institute was established in 2010. NIT Sikkim has a total of nine departments and provides courses such as BTech, MTech, MSc, and PhD.

To avail admission to NIT Sikkim 2025, you would need to attain a score ranging between 360 to 432 if you belong to the General AI category. The M.Tech 2025 course specialisation, which was the most competitive for this category, was M.Tech in Communication and Signal Processing, with a cutoff of 432 in round 3, which was the last round for this specialisation. Therefore, a score above 360 would be needed for this year to get into NIT Sikkim.
