    Dear aspirant, Nice to see you. Well, doing a Ph.D. is a good decision for future. I am pretty sure, It is very workaholic degree. Yes it is very worth-full degree if you are doing it from very reputed university in Punjab. Lovely professional university is a private and very famous university. One of my friend is doing Ph.D. from lpu. She told me about that the infrastructure, teaching skills, atmosphere, raking wise, activities etc. LPU provide Ph.D. part time and full time.     Lovely Professional University is the best private university in north India. They offer 200+ programmes and they also offer Ph.D in 31+ disciplines.     Both Full Time & Part-time Ph.D. programs are available in LPU. In Case of Ph.D. Part-Time programme, applicants are required to submit a NOC (No Objection Certificate from their employer at the time of admission. Other than Engineering disciplines, Students who have done their Masters in Distance Mode, are eligible for the Ph.D. programme. The duration of the Ph.D. programme will be a minimum of 3 Years & a Maximum of 6 Years (2 Years extra relaxation is also there for the female students). LPU offers flexible course work in three different options and the tentative schedule is mentioned below:

LPUPET or PET that refers to the Physical Efficiency Test of LPU is exercised offline. Fitness is evaluated through running, jumping, and sports drills that are not done online or on the campus premises.

LPU's Physical Efficiency Test (LPUPET/PET) is in fact not an hour-long session with a fixed time allotment; rather, it is a combination of physical tasks conducted in succession sprinting for 50m, broad jump, overhead medicine ball throw (3 kg for men and 2 kg for women), and finally 1000m of run/walk. The time taken in doing the complete tasks varies with the fitness of the candidate, commonly taking from 20 to 45 minutes for a session. The candidates are allowed a maximum of two attempts.
