Is quality of MBA education declining?

Increase is in number of B-School and decreasing registrations for CAT.

I don't think the quality of MBA education is declining overall, but it's becoming very uneven. A lot more colleges have opened in the last few years, so the quality really depends on the institute you choose.

Top and mid-tier B-schools still maintain good faculty, internships and placement support.

Simple reason- due to large number of Graduate opting for MBA from a basic PG college. Anyone with Money and political support can open a MBA college.

Yes, that's right, quality is absolutely declining. MBA is now a traditional course. Most of us wish to apply for the same. But now there are so many MBA graduates in the country that even after doing an MBA, we can't stand out from the crowd. Also, many times a BBA or graduate student takes the job

Yes, it is declining, but only in the average and below-average colleges wherein no major steps are taken to ensure the teaching pedagogy is enhanced and is in sync with the latest market needs.
