Is quality of MBA education declining?
Increase is in number of B-School and decreasing registrations for CAT.

I don't think the quality of MBA education is declining overall, but it's becoming very uneven. A lot more colleges have opened in the last few years, so the quality really depends on the institute you choose.
Top and mid-tier B-schools still maintain good faculty, internships and placement support. But some smaller colleges don't update their curriculum or offer enough industry exposure, which makes the experience feel outdated.
So it's not that MBA quality is falling everywhere — it's just important to pick a college that focuses on practical learning, internships and industry linkages rather than just classroom teaching.

Simple reason- due to large number of Graduate opting for MBA from a basic PG college. Anyone with Money and political support can open a MBA college.

3 years agoYes, that's correct quality is undeniably deteriorating. The MBA is currently a common course. The majority of us want to apply for the same job. However, there are currently so many MBA graduates in the nation that we are unable to stand out from the crowd, even after earning an MBA. Additionally, an MBA student frequently loses their employment to a BBA or graduate student. So definitely, urgent development is required otherwise the MBA programme's value will diminish with time. -
Yes, that's right, quality is absolutely declining. MBA is now a traditional course. Most of us wish to apply for the same. But now there are so many MBA graduates in the country that even after doing an MBA, we can't stand out from the crowd. Also, many times a BBA or graduate student takes the job away from under the MBA student's nose. So yes there is an urgent need for development or else the MBA course will lose its value with time.
