    Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (SIR MVIT) is considered a TIER 2 College but it is one of the topmost colleges in bangalore.

    • It stood 58 rank in engineering college in India by India Today.
    • It stood 29 rank in engineering among private colleges in India by India today.
    • By outlook it was ranked 22.
