Is SNDT Women's University as good as Shivaji University for B.Tech?

<p>Shivaji University, located in Kolhapur, was established in 1962. The university is accredited with Grade A by the NAAC. The university affiliates 276 colleges that are spread over three districts of Maharashtra, namely, Kolhapur, Sangli, and Satara. Shivaji Uiversity has better infrstruture than most of DU's colleges</p><p>Every year 70 to 80% of students got placements in Shivaji University with the lowest package of INR 2 LPA and the highest package of 7LPA. The companies that came to recruit are&nbsp; Infosys, HDFC, TCS, Wipro, ICICI Bank, IBM and Tech mahindra. The average package for M.Tech graduates is 3.5 LPA. There is a high scope of getting placement after completing M.Tech. The placements of M.Tech at Shivaji university are quite good as the placement rate is 80%. Accenture, &nbsp;Reliance Industries Limited, Amazon, Capgemini, ITC, KPMG etc., are top recruiting companies.</p><p>However, the average package offered for B.Tech course at SNDT Women's University was Rs 3 LPA. The highest package was INR 5 LPA. The top recruiters are hospitals and private clinics. Almost 70% of the batch opted for internships during the second year. Almost 60 to 70% of students get placed on campus. The campus placement cell is handled by the students and is very active.&nbsp;</p><p>Hence, it clearly depends upon the candidates to choose between these two universities depending upon their requirements.</p><p>&nbsp;</p>
