The Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU) offers a legitimate degree. Recognised under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act, RNTU is a coeducational institution accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) with a "B" grade. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the Association of Indian Universities (AIU), the Bar Council of India (BCI), and the Indian Nursing Council (INC) have also recognised the university.

Yes, It is a co-educational institution accredited with a “B” grade by NAAC. The university has been placed in the esteemed Rank Band of 151-200 in the University category in NIRF 2023, as recognized by the Ministry of Education.It is also recognized under Section 2 (f) of the UGC Act and approved by INC. RNTU is a member of AIU.
