Is the LPU NEST compulsory?

It all depend on the programme that you are opting for. If you have opted for B Tech, Hons, B.Sc. BPT MLT, B.Pharma etc. Then you will have to appear for LPU NEST. It is mandatory. However, for BBA BCA B.A. B Comm programs, LPU NEST is not mandatory. Do not get scared of LPU NEST. LPU NEST is based on your last qualification. So it will not be hard to handle. Even if it is not mandatory, you should appear for LPU NEST because you may land up with a huge scholarship. Good Luck.

Hi there, LPU NEST is mandatory for certain programme while for others it is not. It is not only an admission test, it is a scholarship test as well. Even if you it is not mandatory it is advisable you take the test because it will get you scholarship that will get you a waive off in the programme fee.

Dear Devanshu, It depends on the programme you are choosing at LPU. LPU NEST is not mandatory for every programme such as BBA B.A. BCA etc. However, you can appear for the exam for a scholarship. But in the case of B.Tech, B.Pharma BBA (Hons. ), etc. LPU NEST is mandatory. LPU NEST exam is not too difficult if you're good at academics as the questions will come from the last class you have attended. You may get the previous year's question papers of the LPU NEST exam and sample questions on the LPU NEST website. I hope this helps
