    Hi,
    Yes, it is possible to get admission into B.Tech through lateral entry.
    At present, the admissions are being done online and the eligibility criteria to seek admission in B.Tech (lateral entry) is Pass with 60% in Diploma (Engg.) (any stream) (3yrs. after 10th or 2 yrs after 10+2(Non-Medical)) or B.Sc (Non-medical)/ B.Sc(Computer Science) or equivalent.
    There are also lots of scholarships available in different categories and criterion:
    # Scholarship on the basis of Percentage in previous two Qualifications including the one of eligibility!

For engineering (B.Tech), LPU also accepts JEE Main scores.
