Yes, under the new 2024/2025 BBA curriculum at NUS, students are required to fulfill the Work Experience Milestone (WEM) to graduate. The objective is to equip BIZ undergraduates with workspace-ready skills before graduation. Under this students have to complete Career Compass Workshops, one full-time or part-time approved internship and a work-study internship program. These internships are designed to allow students to have a deeper knowledge of the industry and be able to find immediate application of what they have learned in the classroom.
