Is there any ragging in a lovely professional university?

Safe & Secured Residential Facility (Accommodation) with excellent infrastructure benefit is one of the criteria behind selection of Good University. At the time of selection of BEST University, I definitely kept this as parameter. Being an Alumni of Lovely Professional University, in one word I must say LPUs residential facility is the most "Safe & Secured" for both boys & Girls. Student will definitely fully enjoy their academic life in most Controlled environment. Lovely Professional University is having best options in terms of most safe & secured accommodation facilities. LPU hostels are having capacity to accommodate 20000+ students. This is not just a University. Lovely Professional University campus is one of the finest campus in India & rightly said as others "like a city within a city" rather Home away from Home. Below are some of the rules for the Boys Hostel @ LPU, 1) 0% Ragging, 0% tolerance to any illegal substances like alcohol, drugs etc. Strict actioned used to be taken against the defaulters in case non-adherence of such rules. 2) Students are not allowed to enter any other Hostel without permission of the authority. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored. 3) Boys are allowed to go outside campus as per requirement but they need to return back & report to Hostel by 8 PM. 4) Special Permission will be extended to Boys student for night out with the written permission of Warden & Parents. 5) Any publicly offensive acts are clearly not allowed in the university and strict actions are taken against such act. Though there are many restrictions you can observe from the above mentioned points for the hostellers but believe me at the end of day you will find it necessary for all your security & safety. These restrictions would definitely make you learn how to lead your life in controlled environment. Stay Safe Stay Healthy !

The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs and disciplinary misconduct. And also the seniors will be so supportive for any kind of problems you will face from study to enjoyment. Senors will be too friendly and they can help you as much as possible. Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to a residential facility. So no new person can enter your hostel. There will be a lot of security guards at every hostel and all along the roads of LPU. There are CCTV cameras everywhere on campus, in classrooms, in hostel-corridors.

Automated turnstile gates with biometric machines regulate entry & exit to residential facility. It is manned by over 400 full time security officials, thousands of security cameras, LPU is one of the safest campuses in the world. Our security team includes experienced ex-military men and women. A dedicated & expert department of security officials and personnel are on duty 24 x 7 to ensure that no drug ever enters the campus. A majority of security personnel and gunmen are experienced ex-servicemen, fully equipped and trained. Lady security staff are specially recruited for girls hostel security. LPU has more CCTVs than even the New Delhi International Airport. The security department provides the necessary electronic security support system with more than 4000 CCTV cameras for the safety of the students and staff. The University has its very own fire station department, fully equipped with a fire truck and trained firemen. LPU has Turnstile gates at major entry/exit points as well as boom barriers for vehicles, thereby ensuring that every movement is monitored.

I am a pass out from LPU and have profoundly utilized my time here in shaping my personality along with self-analysis. Unlike other universities, rules and regulations are quite strict here. From academics to extra-curricular activities, thorough support is given by our mentors/seniors, professors, and management. The university is committed to zero tolerance to ragging, alcohol, smoking, drugs, and disciplinary misconduct. The security system is very good.

Well to be very honest LPU campus is one the safest campus in the country. I have a student of LPU since 2019 and I have never witnessed or faced any issues regarding ragging. LPU ragging is strictly prohibited. Even in my first year, faculty members used to keep asking if we're facing any problems or if anyone is teasing you or bullying you. There was this form related to ragging for first-year students which he/she can fill if they are facing any problems because of seniors or someone is teasing them. Basically, ragging is strictly prohibited in LPU. If any student found in such activity the strict action will be taken against those students. It's not like Netflix web series where students are bullied by their seniors or any Bollywood movie where ragging is cool. LPU is very strict about its rules and the safety of students. There are 4500+ cameras in the university. So because of all this, of course, ragging is impossible in LPU.

Hi, LPU is safe in all aspects and is a drug-free campus. It is absolutely the safest with Hi-tech security available 24*7. It has an amazing infrastructure where there are more than 4500 CCTV running on campus. A security guard is there at every 100 m. LPU does not tolerate any kind of misbehave, ragging, discrimination, and has a strict policy to deal with these things. You will be astounded to know that there is a full-fledged fire station on the campus with trained firemen on board to help out in a fire emergency. LPU has turnstile gates at the main entrance as well as in hostels also and boom barriers for vehicles. These measures ensure that every type of movement is monitored on the campus. Thanks.

LPU has a strong anti ragging policy: no such kind of activities is seen and tolerated in the universities. In the past 12 years, no case has been reported for the same because LPU is very strict towards their rules and regulations. The punishment for ragging is in accordance with the UGC (University Grants Commission) Regulations made to curb this menace; apart from any penal laws that are in force at that time and it applies to the situation. To ensure that no fresher faces ragging in any form, the University authorities have issued the following guidelines/suggestions: Their are students of all races, communities, cultures, tradition, countries etc. Studying here in the university from all over India and the world. With quality education, LPU provides good holistic development of the students to tackle the corporate world and achieve ones dream. LPU will ensure the identity of a student who reports the incident (s) of ragging shall be protected and shall not be subject to any adverse consequences for reporting the incidents.

Hi, The University is an anti-ragging university where students feel safer on the campus Lovely Professional University- LPU DOES NOT TOLERATE RAGGING, DISCRIMINATION REGARDING COLOR, CASTE, AND LOOKS OF INDIVIDUALS and has a strict policy to deal against it. LPU has more than 6000 foreign students from more than 70 countries including Afghanistan, Nepal, Bhutan, Srilanka, Bangladesh, etc. 24/7 Security and Hospital Services LPU is a world in itself, from 8 stored shopping mall (where one can buy from clothes to laptops, etc. ), Eateries like Domino's, food of any taste, Gaming hubs, etc. NON-Veg has also been facilitated in LPU now, one does not have to leave the campus for anything. 24/7 security and hospital and ambulance service are provided. Boys are not allowed in Girls Hostels and girls cannot leave the university without their parents' approval. Female securities are there to deal with females. LPU has a strong anti-ragging policy: no such kind of activity is seen and tolerated in the universities. Because of so much diversity available, everybody: may it be of Race, Culture, ethnicity, country, all are same and everybody is respected. ALL ARE ONLY STUDENTS inside the LPU, while one is free to express their culture and values without any restrictions. In events like One World and One India, one is able to express their cultures and tradition in healthy competition. There are students of all races, communities, cultures, traditions, countries, etc. Studying here in the university from all over India and the world.
